The revised EU27 sugar production forecast for market year (MY) 2021/22 is 16.6 million metric tons (MMT) in Raw Sugar Equivalents (RSE) as it suffered less from beet yellows virus (BYV) disease than the MY 2020/21 production.

Food for Progress Program – 2020 Report to Congress

The quarterly trade forecast released today projects fiscal year 2021 U.S. farm exports at $164 billion – the highest total on record. This represents an increase of $28 billion from last fiscal year and $7 billion from USDA’s previous forecast.
