Canada: Preliminary Text of SFCA Regulations Published

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) published its preliminary text of proposed regulations that would bring the Safe Food for Canadians Act into force. Thirteen sets of regulations will be consolidated and replaced with one set of regulations – the Safe Food for Canadians Act Regulations. CFIA is seeking feedback on the draft. The consultation window is short – comments must be received by June 30, 2015.
