India: AAHAR 2018 - Trade Show Announcement

The annual AAHAR International Food and Hospitality Fair will be held March 13-17, 2018, at Pragati Maidan exhibition hall in New Delhi. This premier show highlights the many food products and services which have spurred growth of this sector in India. Of note, from 2012 to 2016 India’s bulk, intermediate, consumer-oriented and agricultural related imports grew from $23.1 billion in to $26.9 billion. Imports of consumer-oriented foods, led by tree nuts, are among the fastest growing segment of imported agricultural products and reached $4.2 billion in 2016 with United States market share at 17 percent.
