On December 25, 2024, Türkiye unexpectedly increased the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) on distilled spirits by 12.5 percent, excluding domestically produced raki.
In 2023, Hong Kong was the world’s nineth largest spirits importer. The city’s global imports surpassed pre-pandemic levels by 30 percent and reached a new record valued of $779 million. Last year, domestic consumption grew significantly as both on-trade and off-trade sales registered remarkable growth.

Husband-and-wife team Dave Crosley and Teresa Dahl-Bredine founded Little Toad Creek LLC in 2012. The couple started their business under the brewpub model, producing beer and spirits for their taprooms, located in Silver City and Las Cruces, New Mexico.
