Singapore: Singapore Publishes Draft Regulation on the Use of Pathogen Reduction Treatments

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is seeking comments on the draft Food (Amendment No. X) Regulations 2022, concerning provisions for the use of pathogen reduction treatments (PRTs) on raw meat. The proposed regulation would increase the number of approved PRTs to 21, including the most-used PRTs in U.S. meat and poultry production. Comments will be accepted until April 9, 2022.
