Senegal: Fortification of Refined Vegetable Oils and Soft Wheat Flour

On September 10, 2009, the Government of Senegal issued Decree 2009-872, which supports Food Safety Law 68-48. This decree requires that imported and domestically produced refined vegetable oils be enriched with vitamin A; it also requires that imported and domestically produced soft wheat flour be enriched with iron and folic acid. This report contains an INFORMAL translation of the original text, as well as a copy of the original text in French.
