Russia: Russia Lifts Restrictions on Poultry Transit to Kazakhstan

On August 16, 2018, the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) removed all remaining barriers to the transit of U.S. poultry to Kazakhstan via its instruction No. FS-NV-7/20196, which cancelled the “special conditions” that had been required for the transit of U.S. poultry and poultry products shipments through the Russian territory to Kazakhstan.
