Russia: Russia Lifts Ban on Poultry Transit to Kazakhstan

The Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) issued instruction No. FS-SA-6/27354 that allows movement and transit of live birds, poultry products and hatching eggs from the United States to the Republic of Kazakhstan through the territory of the Russian Federation if the transit is carried out by railway transport and notified in the Informational Database “Mercury” by the importing companies.
