Russia: Draft TBT Measure on Dairy Products Notified to WTO

On May 23, 2016, Russia notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of draft amendments No. 1 to the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union “On Safety of Milk and Dairy Products” (G/TBT/N/RUS/68). According to the notification, the amendments specify requirements for reconstituted milk. The public comment period for the draft will close on July 22, 2016. Interested U.S. parties are encouraged to share their comments and concerns with the National Institute of Standards and Technology at ncsci@nist.gov. For potential inclusion in the U.S. official position, please send your comments by July 8, 2016.
