Kazakhstan: Kazakhstan Finalizes National Agricultural Sector Development Project Plan 2021-2025

The Ministry of Agriculture proposed a national agricultural sector development project plan for 2021-2025 to increase the sector's competitiveness by improving labor efficiency, increasing agricultural exports, and domestically producing "socially significant food products." This report contains a brief background, summary, and post comments of the development plan. Notable segments of the project plan include increasing average cattle weight, increasing average milk yield per cow, and increasing domestic production of several "socially significant food products," including poultry.
