Kazakhstan

The United States shipped $83.4 million in agricultural products to Kazakhstan during the 2013 fiscal year, down from a record $129 million the previous year. Kazakhstan is in the final stages of negotiations that would lead to its eventual accession to the World Trade Organization. The United States has a bilateral treaty with Kazakhstan that covers U.S. investment in areas including agriculture-related businesses and partnerships.
