India: Tariff Hike on Specific U.S. Ag Products Further Deferred to June 16

On May 14, 2019, the Government of India’s (GOI) Ministry of Finance (MOF) further deferred the implementation date, from May 16, 2019, to June 16, 2019, of the proposed increase in the basic custom duty (BCD) for exports of specific U.S. agricultural products (i.e. artemia, shelled and in-shell almonds, in-shell walnuts, fresh apples, and pulses).
