Egypt: Egypt Notifies Another Postponement of Halal Dairy Certification Requirement Until October 1 2023

On June 16, 2023, Egypt notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of a new halal requirement and procedure for food products via a Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) addendum notification. The notification postpones the halal certification requirement on imported milk and dairy products until October 1, 2023.
