China: Countervailing Duty Investigation Initiated on Certain EU Dairy Products

On August 21, 2024, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) announced that it had initiated an anti-subsidy (i.e., countervailing duty or CVD) investigation on imports of certain dairy products originating from the European Union. Dairy products under the investigation include all cheese products and certain milk and cream products. This report contains an unofficial English translation of the Announcement and a link to PRC trade data of these products.
