For CY 2016, Post forecasts production to rebound to 720,000 MT for apples and 650,000 MT for pears from CY 2015 due to favorable weather conditions. Table grape production is expected to fall 10 percent to 100,000 MT as a result of decreased planted area. Apple and pear exports are forecast to increase to 130,000 MT and 310,000 MT, respectively, following production trend, and table grape exports are estimated to decrease slightly to 20,000 MT.
