This report provides an update on Vietnam’s government restructuring related to bioethanol-blended gasoline. As part of recent efforts to streamline government operations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade did not merge with other ministries but instead reorganized internally. Oversight of ethanol-blended gasoline regulation, trade, and distribution now falls under a newly created office, the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development.
