Vietnam: GOV Promulgates Provisions of Some Articles of the Plant Health Law

On December 4, 2014, the Vietnamese Office of the Government released Decree 116/2014/ND-CP promulgating detailed provisions of some articles of the Law on Plant Protection and Quarantine. Decree 116/2014 replaces the Plant Protection Charter and the Charter on management of pesticides promulgated in conjunction with Decree 58/2002/ND-CP and Decree 2/2007/ND-CP on plant quarantine. Decree 116/2014 will enter into force on January 18, 2015.
