Turkey: Turkey Again Delays Implementation of New Labeling System PVMS

Turkey has again delayed the implementation of a Product Verification Monitoring System (PVMS) for another year. The system which targets six food categories was scheduled to go into effect on December 31, 2015 but has now been postponed until December 31, 2016. The categories include food supplements; honey; energy drinks; black tea; vegetable oil; infant formulas, follow-on formulas and supplementary baby foods. It has been postponed three times before.
