Covid-19 has accelerated digitalization and propelled emergence of new trends in Taiwan – rapidly growing cloud kitchens, popularizing at-home cooking, and expanding retail presence of frozen and prepared meals. The new phenomenon presents great opportunities for U.S. food ingredients that address versatility and adaptability in all types of recipes. In 2021, the United States exported $3.94 billion worth of farm and food products to Taiwan, making Taiwan its 6th largest overseas market.
