South Africa: Agricultural Economic Fact Sheet

The South African Agricultural Economic Fact Sheet has been updated to include calendar year 2020. Bilateral agricultural trade between the United States and South Africa is expected to decrease by seven percent to US$700 million in 2020, after a record level of US$753 were reached in 2019. Major agricultural products traded between the two countries include, poultry, citrus, tree nuts, wheat, feed and fodder, planting seeds, processed fruit and wine.
