Australia has proven to be an appealing and profitable market for U.S. companies for many years.
The import tariffs and quotas for some Australian and New Zealand dairy products (including whole milk powder, whey, cheese, and anhydrous milk) were removed on January 1, 2021.
Australian policies on agriculture are currently being reviewed by the federal government and a White Paper is set for completion in 2015 in order to provide a new policy platform for the sector.
