The Government of Pakistan has authorized an export subsidy of up to $159 per metric ton to facilitate exports of up to 2 million metric tons of wheat.
The Government of Pakistan has allowed the export of wheat on a government-to-government basis using the same export subsidy rates that were announced for private exporters in January 2015.
In recent years, India’s exports have demonstrated phenomenal growth – especially to developing countries, which now account for nearly 80 percent of Indian exports.
