The stronger purchasing power of Philippine consumers, growing middle class, and increasing urbanization drove a higher frequency of dining out. FAS Manila projects 8 percent growth in the HRI sector with sales of US$14.08 billion in 2018. This growth in the food service industry will provide greater opportunities for exports of U.S. food and beverage products to the Philippines.
