Morocco: New TRQs Established for Wheat-Sugar-Milk Powders

Morocco has established new tariff-rate quotas for biscuit wheat, refined sugar, skim milk powder and whole milk powder in order to support industrial manufacturers in the biscuit, chocolate and confectionery sectors. The measures are likely to improve opportunities for U.S. soft wheat while delivering mixed results for U.S. dairy over the long term as a result of preference erosion.
