Post revises orange production for MY 2015/16 to 922,000 MT, representing a 6 percent increase compared to the previous year on a planted area of about 55,804 hectares; tangerine/mandarin production also increased by 6 percent totaling 1.064 million MT on a planted area of 62,181 hectares; and lemon/lime production increased by 22 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 35,875 on a planted area of 3,750 hectares. Most of the production increases were the result of the natural alternating production, increased planting area, and good irrigation management practices.
