Italy: Italy’s Rice Production to Increase

Italy is the largest rice producer in the EU-28. According to the latest figures from the Italian Rice Association (Enterisi), Italy’s MY2015/16 rice planted area is forecast to increase by 3.5 percent compared to 2014/15.
