India: New Regulation for Nutraceutical - Functional - Novel Foods etc.

The Government of India’s (GOI) Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published new draft regulations for food or health supplements, nutraceuticals, foods for special dietary uses, foods for special medical purpose, functional foods and novel food. The GOI is currently seeking comments from the World Trade Organization (WTO) – Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) member countries. The deadline for the comments is September 23, 2015.
