Honduras: FAIRS Export Certificate Report

The National Plant, Animal Health and Food Safety Service (SENASA) within the Secretariat of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG), is the regulatory agency responsible for the inspection of all agricultural products that enter Honduras. The General Directorate of Surveillance of the Health Normative Framework (DGVMN) within the Secretariat of Health (MOH) is the responsible agency for sanitary registration and inspection of processed food products at the retail and wholesale levels. The certificates requested by SENASA and the DGVMN are described in this report.
