European Union: Commission Publishes Roadmap On a Future Contingency Plan for Ensuring Food Supply and Food Security

On December 4, 2020, the European Commission published a roadmap outlining its intention to develop a contingency plan for ensuring food supply and food security in the EU in times of crises. This contingency plan aims to establish procedures to be followed in times of crises through the development of a common EU food crisis response mechanism. Stakeholders can comment on the roadmap until January 13, 2021.
