Manufacturers and trademark owners of specific retail products being shipped to Egypt are now required to register with the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The full decree, a list of impacted products and example documents are provided. The information below supersedes the January 2016 report.

On March 27, 2025, The People’s Republic of China National Health Commission (NHC) and the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) jointly released the National Food Safety Standard Code of Hygienic Practice for Livestock and Poultry Edible Offal and By-Products (GB 31616-2025).
