Dominican Republic: New Data on Dominican Republic Agricultural Sector

A report by the National Office of Statistics (ONE) and the Ministry of Agriculture shows that the Dominican Republic (DR) has 319,676 agricultural production units and a total of 259,971 agricultural producers, of which 83.7 percent are men and 16.3 percent are women. Sixty-two percent are dedicated to crop production and twenty percent to livestock.
