US agricultural fishery and forestry exports to the Dominican Republic, meanwhile, totaled $1.185 billion. The CAFTA-DR agreement has strengthened the U.S. competitive position in the Dominican market, with consumer-oriented product exports increasing by 70% since the enactment of the agreement.
