The GOC continues to reassess and develop new regulatory standards with detrimental trade implications, including Decree 539 of 2014 and Resolution 719 of 2015. Since December 2015, the joint implementation of these regulations has resulted in approximately $250,000 worth of consumer-oriented products delayed at ports.
