In MY2017/18, Chilean almond import volume increased by 32.5 percent and exports increased by 5.4 percent over MY2016/17. The United States continues to be Chile’s top supplier of almonds holding a 99 percent market share. Post projects Chilean almond exports to increase by 3.4 percent and reach 6,100 MT in MY2018/19 following an increase in planted area.
