Canada: The Québec Wine Market

Québec is the largest wine-importing province in Canada, importing approximately160 million liters of wine valued at $720 million in 2018. While nearly all imported bottled wines are sold at provincially owned and operated retail outlets, imported bulk wines bottled in Québec can be sold in convenience and grocery stores. The United States was the third-largest wine supplier to Québec by value in 2018 ($75 million) and the fifth largest by volume (12 million liters).
