Canada: Grain and Feed Annual

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

FAS/Ottawa forecasts increased production of wheat and oats in marketing year (MY) 2020/21 driven by improved weather conditions, low on-farm stocks, and strong demand. Barley production is forecast to be stable and corn production up despite reduced area planted. In the short-term, demand for barley and corn has declined while demand for milling wheat and oats has increased due to COVID19 impacts.
