Canada: Canada Proposes Streamlined Regulations for Food Additives and Compositional Standards

Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have opened consultations on a comprehensive regulatory package. It is meant to modernize the development and update of regulations for food compositional standards, food additives, as well as microbiological criteria and official methods of analysis used to determine food adulteration. Comments are accepted until February 2, 2024.
