Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) maintains a significant trade deficit in its agro-food sector. In 2022, food imports reached $2.5 billion, while exports were valued at $595 million. The primary imported food products include grains and grain products, meat and dairy products, sugar, and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
