The United States Department of Agriculture-endorsed SIAL Paris show and exhibition occurred Oct. 19-23, 2024. SIAL Paris is the largest food innovation exhibition and is one of the biggest food trade shows in the world.

Private exporters reported sales to China, Philippines and unknown destinations during MY 2024/2025.

Private exporters reported the following sales activities for MY 2024/2025: 30,000 MT of soybean oil for delivery to India, 261,264 MT of soybeans for delivery to Mexico, 135,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to the Philippines.

Private exporters reported sales of 228,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to the Philippines during MY 2024/2025.

Private exporters reported sales of 138,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to the Philippines during MY 2023/2024.

For almost 50 years, Bangladesh required U.S. cotton be fumigated because of concerns about the boll weevil. Collaboration between USDA agencies and the Bangladesh Ministry of Agriculture resulted in amended import requirements, exempting the United States from the list of countries required to fumigate cotton upon arrival.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity: 155,000 MT of corn for delivery to Japan during MY 2024/2025 and 228,000 MT of soybean meal for delivery to the Philippines during MY 2023/2024.
