Vietnam: Vietnam Postpones Maximum Levels for Salmonella and Heavy Metals in Feed Ingredients

On June 30, 2020, the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) issued Circular 08/2020 to postpone the implementation of new maximum levels (MLs) for Salmonella and heavy metals in feed ingredients of plant origin for one year, until July 1, 2021, for further review and assessment. Vietnam also notified National Technical Regulation (NTR) 190 to the World Trade Organization (WTO) as G/SPS/N/VNM/113 on June 23, 2020. The comment period for this notification closes on July 31, 2020.
