Vietnam: MARD Circular 20 Adds Steps in the Ag Input Registration Process
On June 26, 2014, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) published Circular 20/2014/TT-BNNPTNT on stipulating some assignments and competencies to manage agricultural materials. Circular 20 adds additional steps to the registration process and channels product registration dossiers through the Department of Science, Technology, and the Environment before they are approved by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
