Vietnam: FAS and NOAA Expand Seafood Access Resulting in Record Exports

Following a sustained effort by the Office of Agricultural Affairs in Hanoi and the Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) which resulted in an additional 103 U.S. seafood processors being listed as eligible to export seafood products to Vietnam, U.S. seafood exports have grown 150 percent in 2014 year-to-date to almost $90 million.
