MY2015/16 rice and corn production is expected to increase slightly due to average yield improvement that will offset anticipated acreage reduction. Rice exports are forecast to remain strong due to continued heavily subsidized sales of government stocks. Wheat imports are likely to decline mainly due to a reduction in feed wheat demand.
