The Government of Tanzania facilitates this process through the Tanzania Trade Portal. On this single-window platform, exporters and importers can electronically submit applications and receive approvals from all relevant regulatory agencies involved in international trade. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar maintains its own regulations impacting imported food products. Those requirements may differ from those described here.
