Taiwan: Completion of Second U.S. Rice SBS Tender

On August 30, 2017, Taiwan completed its second U.S. rice Simultaneous-Buy and Sell (SBS) tender (GF4-106-094) for 13,100 tons at the price of NT$7.209/kg (US$239/ton). The delivery term for the tender is May 1, 2017, through April 30, 2018. Taiwan has now completed tenders for 50,650 tons of U.S. rice, equaling 78 percent of the 2017 U.S. rice country-specific quota (CSQ).
