Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka Invites WTO Members to Comment on Draft Amendment Standards -First Revision- for Fruit Concentrates used in Squashes-Syrups-Cordials

On January 26, 2022, the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) notified draft amendment standards (First Revision) for fruit concentrates used in squashes, fruit syrups, and fruit cordials to the World Trade Organization (WTO). WTO members are invited to submit comments on notification G/TBT/N/LKA/46. The comment period expires on March 26, 2022. The amendments are issued to align with the Food (Preservatives) Regulation (2019) under the Food Act 26 of 1980.
