South Africa: Draft Regulations Governing The Maximum Limits For Pesticide Residue

On April 7, 2017, the South African (SA) Ministry of Health published a government notice (No. 40772) inviting the public to comment on the amendments to the regulations governing the maximum limits for pesticide residues that may be present in foodstuffs. The proposed regulations will affect a wide range of agricultural products. Post encourages stakeholders to review the amended draft regulations and submit comments by no later than July 7, 2017.
