The Government of Argentina (GOA) approved three new Genetically Engineered (GE) events in 2021 (two corn events and one alfalfa).
The Government of Argentina has announced new limits on corn and wheat exports. These limits are intended to guarantee sufficient supplies of both commodities for domestic users, in part to help reduce inflationary pressure.
For MY 2021/22, Post forecasts fresh lemon production at 1.65 MMT (million metric tons), as orchards recover from an unusually heavy blossom season in MY 2020/21.
