Malaysian crude palm oil (CPO) production for the first half of calendar year (CY) 2019 was up roughly 10 percent compared to the same time the previous year to 9.8 million metric tons (MT).
The overall food processing sector is growing at about 5 percent per year, with dairy, bakery, and processed fish products among the leading sectors.
