In Marketing Year (MY) 2021, FAS Warsaw forecasts Poland’s total cherry production at 213,000 metric tons (MT), consisting of 165,000 MT of sour cherries and 48,000 MT of sweet cherries.

Poland became one of the major producers of poultry meat in the European Union. In the last 10 years Polish poultry production doubled and reached 2.2 million MT in 2014.

In 2014 the total fish catch was 170,500 MT, which included the Baltic Sea and long-distance fisheries.
